We spent a week all around London, eating our way through the city. This was the best meal on our vacation. The noodles had the right texture, the food had amazing wok hei, veggies were cooked perfectly, and the price was good. Atmosphere? Don't expect dark wood or sticky floor. Very come-as-you-are, and be greeted warmly. We'll be back!
Note this restaurant accepts cash only. Generous portion - good value for money. Definitely one of the cheapest I’ve seen in London. Clean and bright inside, with friendly and fast-paced service. Food had clean and simple flavours, which I enjoyed. Will definitely be back.
I had a fantastic dining experience! The food was delicious, with portions so generous that they’re perfect for sharing. The staff's friendliness and attentive service, made the meal even more enjoyable. The restaurant was also very clean, and we didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive. Staff are welcoming as you walk in. Before being seated they will make you aware it's cash only. There's a tesco cash machine opposite the gate clock wetherspoons around the corner. Service is efficient. The food is always piping hot which is important super tasty dishes as well. If you're quite a big eater you could easily spend 30 quid each with a drink so a small free plate of prawn crackers would be a nice gesture but never given like many similar establishments. To finish on a positive note I would highly recommend giving this place a go
Tai Won Mein is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food is consistently delicious, with generous portions at very reasonable prices. Their noodles are perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and always fresh. I ordered a sweet sour chicken and rice dish with fried squid. I also ordered noodle soup with duck and pork along with spare ribs which was extremely tasty. The service is fast and friendly, making the dining experience even better. Whether you're dining in or getting takeout, the quality never disappoints. If you're looking for authentic, flavorful Chinese cuisine, Tai Won Mein is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Decent food, decent portion. Was crowded on this day with some really lousy customers and no one to tell them to lower their voices, as they pissed a lot of people off. Decent place though. Will come back on a quiet day
The epiphany of a chinese noodle bar in a wonderful location. You must try thier noodle soup bowls. A meal by itself, fills you up for some sightseeing! Great value too, 10 per head. Staff are friendly :)
